N2IT Racing Bike Bio
Make: Yamaha
Model: WR450F
Year: 2009
Bike Prep:
For the 2010 Baja 1000, N2IT Racing purchased a new 2009 Yamaha WR450F from Vickery Motorsports. After its purchase in December 2009 the bike was immediately taken to Carbondale Colorado for breakdown and build up. Scott White and Chris Morrison have worked tirelessly and meticulously to prepare the bike in similar fashion to the 2007 WR450 that was successfully raced in the 2008 Baja 500. Initial work is nearing completion and the bike should be ready for break in and testing by mid March.
Bike Testing:
The bike will be tested on several rides to ensure that all major systems are working and the entire bike is dialed in to N2IT Racing standards. Suspension and ride setup will prove to be particularly challenging this year since we have riders ranging from 140 to 230 lbs and 5'6" to 6'8'. Scott and Chris will continue to tune the bike through the Spring and Summer months. Once the bike is race ready it will be mothballed until the race in November.
Bike Equipment:
Some equipment highlights include: N2IT Racing engine guards, Hyde clutch cover and skip plate, Cycra brush guards, Renthal chain, Bridgestone ultra heavy duty tubes, Baja Designs headlights, MSR steel brake lines, DPK clutch, Dr. D full system exhaust, Scotts Performance steering stabilizer and shark fin, BRP triple clamp and stabilizer mount, Pro Taper oversized bars, Boyesen accelerator pump and water pump, IMS oversized gas tank, Twin Air filter, Acerbis plastics, Maxxis desert IT tires, TM Designs chain guide, Flatland radiator braces, Topar rotor guard, and a Zipty oil plug.

Mission:
My personal mission is to be the best son, husband, father, and leader that I can be. I will do this to acknowledge and honor the contributions and sacrifices that have been made by others for my benefit. To meet this mission I will focus my energy on those areas of my life that contribute to this goal (health, relationships, personal growth, and developing others).
Objective:
To complete the 2010 Baja 1000 within the allotted time, safely, and respectfully.
Why Baja:
So how does the Baja 1000 fit into this mission? This race meets all of the above criteria.
Health - in October 2007 I began working out five times a week and taking an otherwise terrible diet and turning it into a nutritional force. In December that year I spent a three days in Florida at the Human Performance Institute developing a diet, exercise, and mental training plan to help prepare for the race.
Relationships- preparing for this race is deepening several relationships with long-term friends as well as creating new relationships with many new individuals. Ironically, the commitment, focus, and clarity of purpose required for this race is also strengthening my marriage and my relationship with my children.
Personal growth- ask anyone who has competed in this race if it challenged them to grow. The answer is obvious; Baja is a test. It doesnt matter if you pass or fail, personal growth is inevitable.
Developing others- I truly believe that the example that I am setting as a team leader and team member will reward and benefit all of those individuals that are involved in the effort. This effort will be something that we can all share in and be proud of.

Mission statement:
To finish the race. Period. This race is known as a grueling race for both rider and machine. The idea here is not to speed to the finish, but rather to finish in a timely manner. The time limit may be close to 54 hours and we will not need all that time, but if we must, then we will do what ever it takes to get across that finish line.
Rider Profile:
My name is Scott Robinson. I am 29 and will be 30 at the time of this years Baja 1000. Southern California is my backyard for riding, playing, and working. Born in Escondido, CA and raised in Ventura, I am now back in San Diego and living in Mira Mesa.
I mostly ride with my family and friends in the local deserts from Mexico, Ocotillo Wells, Barstow, all the way up to Dove Springs and as far west as Pismo Beach. I have been riding since I was 6 and only desert racing with AMA district 37 for two years. Three times I have attempted the Baja 500 to only to finish once. Now that the 500 is checked off the list it is time to move on to bigger and better things.
The Baja 1000 is a race that has always been in the back of my mind. Something that everyone knows about and only a few try. After finishing the Baja 500 and learning the valuable lesson that nothing is out of reach, I have now set my mind and energy on completing the next task of delivering a bike from point A to B in the 2010 Baja 1000 thanks to IN2IT Racing.

To live life with heart, soul and passion. Challenges must be met head on with determination and pride. Any and all things are possible.
History:
From childhood I have had a passion for all things two wheeled. Throughout high school and college I raced road and mountain bicycles. In 1992 I entered the world of motorcycles via sport bikes. Eighty thousand miles later and a move to the beautiful mountains of Colorado, an obsession for off-road motorcycles was spawned. My commitment to and abilities in off-road riding has grown over the years and I was honored to be asked to participate in the mayhem referred to as the 2007 Score Baja 500. Baja Fever was caught and in 2008, I co-captained a team that successfully completed that years Baja 500. From those experiences I have gained tremendous insight into the spirit of the Baja races it is a brotherhood that cant be described to anyone who has not experienced it. The desire to be a part of that brotherhood and the challenge of maintaining order throughout chaos, has made the Baja 1000 the next stepping stone in the pursuit of my passion.
Mentality:
Smooth is fast. Motorcycles have the ability to humble, scare, excite, and inspire. They teach self discipline and focus and concentration. If these lessons and attributes are not respected, a motorcycle can destroy.

I was born in California and lived and/or passed through over 40 states before the age of five. No, I wasnt a military brat. I had hippie parents. Our family settled down in Daisy, WA when I was ten. I had a piggy bank that every cent I had ever earned, found or was gifted to me was put into to buy a Yamaha GT80. I bought the bike when I was ten, grew out of it at 10 ½ but still rode it until I was 14. As an adult, I raced in dirt bike hair scrambles. The comradery and the rush was amazing. I cant imagine how much more amplified it will be with five partners and 1200 miles to cross. I sold my business, house and toys (except my dirt bike) and moved to Colorado in 2001 with my wife, Cher, and we now have a four-year-old son. They both bought dirt bikes last year and one of them really loves it, the other wants to trade her bike in for a daughter. Since Ive moved to Colorado, Ive been fortunate enough to find guys like Dave White and Scott White, both of whom love riding as much as I do. Weve had a ton of great rides and each one of them comes with a story and memories. But, the ride we have in November in the Baja 1000 will be a story we will tell until our final days.
To be in the best physical condition I can be in to finish my section of the Baja 1000 and to support and encourage my teammates to cross the finish line safely and with smiles on their faces.

This year to try get in the best shape Ive been, since my 20s! Live life to the fullest, nothing is impossible. Treat people with the same respect you expect. Work hard, be successful in life and grateful for what we have.
Motto:
We are not here for a long time, we are here for a good time! So make it a long good time!
Born in Summer of 69! Grew up in South Africa, served two years in the South African Army. Trained as a Section Leader then joined 61 Mechanized Battalion, special forces and did 14 months in Angola, survived the war!
I left SA. at 21 and traveled around the world finally landing in Aspen, CO. where I have been for 20 years, how time flies when youre having fun! I started my contracting business about ten years ago.
I have always loved the rush and freedom of riding a motorcycle. There is no better way to combine speed and freedom! While maintaining and utmost respect for the machine of course.
I have always been driven, competitive and intrigued by the Baja 1000. I tink it is the ultimate test of ones endurance, comradery and being a bit of a gear head and motorcycle enthusiast, definitely the biggest challenge on two wheels you could ask for! I was very honored and excited when Scott White invited me to join the team and participate in the race. We have been on many rides together throughout Colorado and Utah and been friends for over ten years.
Being under pressure and having the adrenaline rushing through you is the ultimate rush for me.
My goal for the race is to be there for my comrades, complete the race safely, within my means and allotted time. To have the experience of a lifetime!

This past year I learned first hand that life is short. My mother, was recently diagnosed with cancer; thankfully she is ok. From this experience and her advice I no longer take things for granted and have started taking risks and realizing my dreams. Racing Baja has always been one of my dreams since I started riding.
I have lived my life with the principle that nothing comes for free and hard work does pay off. WIth that said, my motto is that if it was easy everyone would do it.
The Baja 1000 is just that, it is the ultimate test of physical and mental devotion, but most importantly it is a test of your own desire to push through the hard times and have the self control to ride within your skill and ability.
I have been riding for 8 years and have found that what I really love is trail riding. I have yet to do any races but the Baja 1000 fits right in...Go big or go home. I am riding the Baja 1000 for the Baja experience. My goal is for us to finish the race and have a damn good time doing it!
